Outro week - Last day

Hello!

I show you here some pictures of the last day together in Rotterdam. It was sad to say goodbye to everyone but for sure the best day and night ever!
First we saw some funny videos about the IBEX experience and some other extras ;)

After it we trade presents within the students. This present game consisted in each of us had one person who we would need to find a present for! The present should correspond to that persons personality! We certainly had funny presents ;)

Then we did IDEX (International Drinking Experience)! Everyone brought a drink so we could try all the different drinks from all the countries. After that we went to one italian restaurant with some teachers and after all the students went out to the center and had a crazy night! Great end to a great semester!

The objective of these activities were to have a relaxing last moment with each other and I think it was very pleasant and the best day of IBEX ever!

Here you have some pictures about this day :) Enjoy!

Outro week - Business Etiquette Dinner

On Wednesday we had some presentations presentations due to business skills results'.
After the presentations we went together to Albeda College where our business event took place. There we had a special business dinner. During the dinner we got the opportunity to learn everything about business etiquette in Holland during business meals. A teacher of our school gave us a lecture during dinner. It was very fun, food was amazing and all paid by the school! Here you have some pictures of the dinner! Enjoy!

Rotterdam- World Port World City

Dear students,

IBEX is coming to one end for some of us, for others is just starting. Some of us are living the last days in this awesome city that is Rotterdam! This post is directed to all of the students, new and old, to remember or discover what a great city Rotterdam is.

First of all, Rotterdam is the second largest city of the Netherlands. Curiously, the name of the city derives from a dam in the Rotte river. It also has the largest port of Europe and consequently, one of the busiest. It has about 605 000 inhabitants and due to study/work/turism is filled with foreign people. So it is pretty normal to hear other languages besides dutch when visiting it, though it is the official language.

The time zone of Rotterdam is GMT+1. About the climate...Cool summers and mild winters characterize the moderate climate of the city. Its windy, rainy and cloudy days are very common in here. So if you're coming for the first time remember to buy a good umbrella :)

About the nightlife of Rotterdam, you have plenty of things to do! It’s always party time in this city! In the school there are always postcards, posters, etc informing you about the parties. You can find everything there! Since clubs, to bars, casino and cafes, you have lots of things to do.

If you want to know more about the city, don't hesitate to contact us!

Kind regards,
Legacy Group
