Sharing of experiences

Dear IBEX team,
Here you have some testimonials of past students of the IBEX programme. Hope they can help you in your choice and getting to know a little bit more the course!

"IBEX is a good opportunity to improve your English, to see different cultures and to exchange experience. It is divided in two blocks which are very important for everybody who studies different kind of business (first period is based in Marketing subjects and second in Finance)."
Natalia Olekhnovich, Russia
"For the new Ibex students, make sure your English is good enough. And the specialization of ones studies should match with most og the Ibex Study program. What I've been liking in this project so far is the interactive way of teaching, the intro week experience and the new lectures that I didn't have before."
Sebastian Hauff, Germany

"For people that are open-minded IBEX can be a really nice experience. You have to be open and willing to invest in yourself. You will have a lot of fun and you will improve your English."
Marieke Bout, The Netherlands

"IBEX is a nice opportunity to improve yourself, getting some marketing and financial courses is fantastic. In business you will have to combine those two subjects. It is one opportunity especcially for Dutch students who are interested in an international experience but do not want to go abroad. That is what I did and now I know for sure - I am going abroad!"
Patricia Bol, The Netherlands

"For the new students, don't be surprised on the work load, IBEX is not one ordinary Erasmus experience. Though you will meet good people and very interestinf and intensive courses! It involves people to apply their knowledge to the practice area."
Matti Henriksson, Finland

" The change in environment, compared to your regular class is amazing. IBEX is overall a business experience. The way of teaching is very different per class. That makes it very interesting."
Sebastian Demper, The Netherlands

"By living alone, speaking English all the time (literally, since I have no Portuguese people studying/living with me here) and meeting new interesting people from all over the Europe. Rotterdam is a very nice place to study, a developed city with a lot of international connections to the world, just look at the harbor! The Netherlands is also one developed country with a nice transport systm, in the middle of Europe, which gives you the opportunity to travel around."
Joana Mourao, Portugal

"I've choosen for IBEX because The Netherlands is the second country after England, I guess, with the best environment for studying English. I've experienced the 'adult life' and the life here is absolutely a contrary environment to what I'm used to in Russia."
Maria Akimova, Russia

" IBEX can be good for your CV. It shows that you are willing to jump to the unknown. Everyday here is something else that will happen and it is totally not boring! Enjoy your experience directly, it is over before you know it!"
Sherlon Martina, The Netherlands

"I've experienced trips with friends, useful pratical exercises at school, knowledge to apply to real life. I advice the new students to work a lot, it is one exigent program and fro some people it might be very hard."
Clara Gonzalvez, Spain

"IBEX is a great opportunity to expand your network. You meet people and of course you will keep in contact with most of them. Speaking English is a challenge but after two weeks you get used to it. Your mind is even in English."
Debbie Van der Zande, The Netherlands

" The project is amazing. Especcially when you are willing to get involved. You learn a lot not only from knowledge but also from yourself. It is a real challenge. It is a practical project, which is capable to make it your own."
Marliecke Pans, The Netherlands

Pictures Intro week (International Lunch) 15th September 2009

Dear Ibex team,

Here I send you some pictures of our intro week in September. For past students, it is always good to remember the wonderful week we had! For the new coming students, this is the beginning of our experience! Hope you like to watch our pictures, we had a lot of fun in all these activities!

On 15th September, the adventure began! We started with one international lunch where each country brought some food (and drinks!) of their own. Then we put them in tables and shared our food with everyone! We got some really interesting dishes from Spain, Italy, Portugal, Finland, The Netherlands and Russia!

After lunch each of us made one presentation about our schools/cities in our home countries. We ended our day with some games to get to know people. Really fun day!
Kind regards,
Legacy Group
